I am still in the phase of discovery with this process (see my story under a recent heading about Red Yeast Rice in the Statin page). In other words, my allopathic physicians, still in a state of denial that my problem is statin toxicity, want to pursue allopathic diagnosis. So far, my general physical was within normal limits, the cardiologist was pleased with my weight loss and lipid profile (though not "normal" by their standards, and the vascular people tested me and cleared me from having vascular disease. Now my internist wants me to see a neurologist. I have scanned the field locally, and don't see anyone who looks like they have an iterest in weird neuropathies... The internist hasn't yet told me who she prefers. Meanwhile, a friend told me of a naturopathic neurology practice in Seattle.

Anyone with comments about encounters/benefits/detriments with neurolgists or alternative neurologists?
